The beautiful antique Victorian coin shows details of the garter and collar the outside with the inscription "BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF" and "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" translating to "Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith, shame on those who think evil of it".
This ring shows the date split by a flush set, round cut, 3mm Mozambique garnet stone in red, set so it hangs neatly above the date. Garnet is a particularly brilliant stone having a high refractive index and this one really shows off the beautiful, bright red nicely.
