1887 to 1900 British Crown Coin Ring - Queen Victoria
The British Crown is an iconic coin despite only being minted with this pattern between 1887 and 1900 in the later years of Queen Victoria's reign. The same picture of George slaying the Dragon is so familiar because it is often found on the much smaller gold sovereign.
This ring is designed to be worn rather than as a "one-off" show piece: we have meticulously taken the reeded edge from the coin and reduced the thickness giving the inside a highly polished comfort fit, making the ring much more wearable despite the original coin being large.
The ring pictured is sized to a W, however, custom orders can be sized to a variety of sizes (including half sizes, US sizes, etc) just send us a message using the “contact us” page if you have any sizing questions. We have some dates in stock but others between 1887 and 1900 are easily obtainable, just send us a message should you have any specific questions.
The silver fineness of the original coin is 92.5%, sterling silver.
