1937 British Wreath Crown Antler Lined Copper Coin Ring - King Edward VII
This Edward VII crown ring is made from a copper coin and lined with responsibly sourced deer antler, here in the UK. This coin ring is handmade from a British fantasy round (part of the Retro Patina Collection) imagining what a Wreath Crown would have looked like if Edward VII had not abdicated.
The Wreath Crown from the reign of George V was minted mainly for collectors and not for common circulation, as such there were very few minted compared to other historical crowns. The Retro Patina Collection is a reimagining of the same coin design, but struck in copper, brass and sterling silver rather than the 50% silver content of the original.
The beautiful design shows a wreath of typically symbolic flora: roses, thistles and shamrocks. Inscribed with abbreviated latin "FID DEF IND IMP" translating to "Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India".
This particular ring is shown lined with deer antler and finished with an antiqued finish. Shown in a size S, though we have a few of this coin in stock (in copper, brass and sterling silver) so custom orders can be made (with a variety of finishes, sizes, liners or stone settings).
The original coin was struck in copper.
All of our rings come with a lifetime of benefits so you can continue to enjoy your ring for years to come.
