British Sixpence Cufflinks - Queen Elizabeth II - Coin Jewellery

£35.00

These coin cufflinks are made from a Queen Elizabeth, British sixpence here in the UK. They show the national flowers of the home nations: the rose, thistle, leek and clover.

The "modern" British sixpence is a beautiful coin, depicting insignia of the four home nations: the English rose, Scottish thistle, Welsh leek and Northern Irish clover. These coins are perfect for professional looking, unique cufflinks.

Antiqued with the details polished and domed to give the piece some depth. The Queen Elizabeth II sixpences are made from copper-nickel so the details have a bright silver shine when polished.

Having some element of copper content these polished domes will gradually develop a natural patina as they are handled, a high shine can be maintained by using a jewellery cloth. These cufflinks have been given a very thin coating of clear lacquer to help preserve the look.

The cufflinks are approximately 19mm in diameter with a sturdy swivel backing to secure the cuffs of your shirt.

The coins pictured are from 1961 but other years can be crafted on request (between 1954 and 1967), since these cufflinks are made to order then they can also be requested with different levels of antiquing or even polished to a high shine.
