Japanese Silver Cufflinks - 100 Yen - Coin Jewellery
These silver coin cufflinks made from two Japanese 100 yen coins here in the UK.
They are commemorative silver coins showing the Olympic rings and torch from 1964 Tokyo Olympics held in Japan.
Given an antiqued finish with the details polished and domed to give the piece some depth.
Being silver these polished domes will gradually develop a natural patina as they are handled, a high shine can be maintained by using a jewellery cloth. These cufflinks have been given a very thin coating of clear lacquer to help preserve the look.
The cufflinks are approximately 19mm in diameter with a sturdy swivel backing to secure the cuffs of your shirt - the backings are made from chrome plated copper.
The coins pictured are antiqued but since these cufflinks are made to order then they can also be requested with different levels of antiquing or even polished to a high shine.
