This Swiss coin ring is made from a silver coin here in the UK, shipped worldwide for free. The coin is a two franc coin from Switzerland showing a beautiful floral wreath and a standing Helvetia.
The two franc coin from Switzerland has truly stood the test of time having a largely unchanged design for over 170 years, a design that is still in use today (albeit copper-nickel coins rather than the beautiful silver ones we use minted until 1968).
The reeded edge of the coin has been retained on this design, showing everyone that it was once a circulation coin with a rich history of its own. The floral design on this coin also works well if the reeded edge was to be removed, giving wall-to-wall detail and a balanced symmetry.
The ring here has been antiqued with the details polished to make them stand out with the interior details showing Helvetia retained. Though this is a custom order and, as such, any aspects of the design can be changed from removal of the reeded edge to polished finish - just message us to discuss your requirements.
